Why join or start an Idea Group?
An Idea Group is a place for people working on the same project or cause, or with common business or personal interests in a topic to share, rank and collaboratively discover the best ideas. The Idea Group platform provides the artificial intelligence and learning functions to help you harvest the Wisdom of the Group so that all group members can benefit. It encourages users to submit good ideas and make positive contributions by recognizing users who contribute ideas that receives high ranking or help identifying good ideas with reputation points. You can join many Idea Groups, one for each of your project, cause or topic.

How is an Idea Group different from other simple groups or user voting? ?
An Idea Group is focused on discussing, organizing, ranking and discovering good ideas on a single project, cause or topic of interest to you, and among people that you work with or trust. Generic groups such as Yahoo group or Google group do not have the organizing, ranking and discovering functions an Idea Group offers. Nor do they offer any of the artificial intelligence and learning capabilities that support the organization, ranking and discovery of ideas.
